The main body of this book shows how to create adventure games, from concept to programming the game in the BASIC language. In addition, a brief history of computer adventure games is given, plus some elementary advice on how to solve adventures.

For those who did not want to type in the three adventure games listed in the book, a companion cassette (also called Exploring Adventures on the Dragon) containing these three games was also available.
