WHOOPS ! (oh not not him again)
Re: WHOOPS ! (oh not not him again)
Awesome! Thanks a lot!
Re: WHOOPS ! (oh not not him again)
I just uploaded the unpopulated picture and the composite (or X-Ray) view I made.
Enjoy!
Enjoy!
Re: WHOOPS ! (oh not not him again)
This is brilliant - thanks guys.
Re: WHOOPS ! (oh not not him again)
Rolf - would you please be able to check the routings I've made with the analogue components, and fill in any which go underneath the components (just clear lines drawn on the above diagram would be fine - I can't see around the transistors, resistors or capacitors properly). I'm struggling to trace some of this. Also, the value of the top orange capacitor would be useful.
I know what I think *should* be happening, but don't want to make assumptions.
Thanks
John

I'll take a look at this over the weekend. And, I'm now going to leave the cartridge disassembled for a few weeks...

John, have you checked my X-Ray composite image of the PCB?

Yes, but it can't see through components!robcfg wrote: ↑Fri Jul 07, 2023 8:59 pm John, have you checked my X-Ray composite image of the PCB?

Re: WHOOPS ! (oh not not him again)
I updated some tracks for you
They mostly run on the solder side so I chose purple for the GND track, green for regular connections and a different shade of green/blue for the !CE signal of the eprom.

Oh, Rolf, if you could take a picture of the solder side with a bright light shining at the component side (with the components removed), I think we would be able to see most connections.
