Just making an official announcement - the Meetup is going ahead, we have the classroom at the Centre for Computing History in Cambridge and it looks like most of the old gang will be there (and some new faces too!). If you're coming, please let me know in the replies so I have a feel for numbers and if you want a table to show stuff off, please say!
Dragon Meetup - 28th / 29th March
Re: Dragon Meetup - 28th / 29th March
Hi Tony.
I'm planning to attend and would appreciate some table space for my Dragon.

I should be able to attend too. I'm not planning on demoing anything but I'll bring a couple of machines as backup for anyone who needs it.
Looking forward to catching up!

Sad, very sad. Unfortunately, I already have plans for the weekend

Excellent news. I should be able to come, and though I'm not sure anything I have is terribly exciting, a table to put it on would be useful
Re: Dragon Meetup - 28th / 29th March
I'll try my best to be there!
By the way, if anyone else fo outside the UK is thinking on coming to the event, remember that you need to apply for an Electronic Travel Authorisation at https://www.gov.uk/eta/apply
If stars align, should I bring my Beta board?

Re: Dragon Meetup - 28th / 29th March
Well, it's just over a week until the Meetup, so I thought I'd post some logistics
I've allocated tables to Richard Harding, Phill Harvey-Smith, Roy Templeman, Binary Dinosaurs, John Newcombe, Julian Ellison, Stephen Mitchell, Mike Miller, John Whitworth, Ciaran Anscomb and myself. Have I missed anyone out?
If you're around on Friday, we should be able to get access to the room for setup after 3pm. If you're there earlier, feel free to look around the museum but please don't set up stuff until I'm there because I have a plan
Friday and Saturday night we'll be off to the pub. We're back to the Devonshire Arms near the station so those people who need trains will be sorted. Also, the beer in there doesn't get me as drunk as the beer at the Museum of Technology's bar.
Parking - if you can park somewhere else rather than the museum during the day, it would be appreciated. Perhaps at your hotel or in the Tesco's car park (they offer cheap weekend parking - https://www.yourparkingspace.co.uk/loca ... 4294939407 ) - the car park can get very full at the museum and the museum staff get a bit stressed if the car park is full before the visitors even start to arrive.
Any questions? Looking forward to seeing you all next week!

Re: Dragon Meetup - 28th / 29th March
I won't be attending, unfortunately.
Turns out, I've been unemployed since August last year and getting a new job is proving to be quite hard.
So, long story short, with no money to spend and with lots of interview during these next weeks, I'll be missing this one too.
Have fun and take some nice pictures!
