Hi all,
After bugging Ciaran to add a new feature to xroar trace output, I finally got around to making the bits and pieces to allow the output to be used nicely:
xroar-trace-profiler is a couple of little tools that allow you to profile what exactly is taking up all the time when your Dragon/Coco (not 3) is doing something.
* It's a filter, that takes the xroar trace output (with timings additions) and aggregates them into a JSON profile file.
* Then there's a browser based interactive viewer, that allows you to easily explore the profile data to see where the 6809 is doing the most 'work'.
The tools can be built for linux or windows, details are on the github repo here:
https://github.com/bluearcus/xroar-trace-profiler
Feedback always appreciated.
Cheers,
Mike
