Hello everyone!
Last weekend we had a nice retro event in Spain called ParlaBytes.
I took my Dragon 64 and showed Flagon Bird and the Black Planet demo. Many people were amazed at Black Planet's smooth scrolling and played Flagon bird a lot. There were some incredible records!
Here you have some nice pictures:
And here you have a video of Metr81 reaching it's amazing score:

Hi robcfg.
Looks like you had a fab time at ParlaBytes and it's great to see the Dragon being represented.
Seeing Flagon Bird on show made my day. I'm astounded by Metr81's awesome powers of concentration.
I'm not at all surprised people were amazed by sorchard's Black Planet demo. It's pretty impressive stuff!
Thanks for sharing your pics and video.

Thanks for sharing Rob, and thanks for representing the Dragon
The Flagon Bird score makes my own efforts look feeble!
Thanks also for the feedback on the bp demo. It was very kind of you to take the time.

Re: Flagon Bird at ParlaBytes (Madrid)
I would like to one day. The idea of releasing a game that took 25+ years to write does appeal to me. It would stretch credibility though as I would rewrite a large amount of it for performance. It would be a bit like a broom that has had 3 new heads and 5 new handlesrobcfg wrote:Many people asked if you were willing to finish Black Planet.
