I have used the monitor output on a Dragon 32 successfully on a relatively new Philips LCD television set (SCART input) at my parents place, can't remember the model, and an Acer AL1731 LCD monitor with composite input (RCA). While hunting for an LCD monitor with composite input I noted down a number of models which were spec'ed to have this and I should put this in the wiki. Would be nice if we all could fill in models that are confirmed to work well.
