For those MS Windows users who do not want to download the latest GTK+ all-in-one bundle from http://www.gtk.org/download/win32.php and then work out through trial and error which DLLs XRoar GTK+ needs I attach a file that contains the required DLLs and nothing else. Just unzip the DLLs, plus the DLLs from the corresponding non-GTK+ version of XRoar, into the same directory as the xroar-gtk-w32.exe executable. (This file supersedes that found at viewtopic.php?p=2567#p2567.)
P.S. Happy New Year everyone!
GTK Libs for XRoar-GTK-w32
Re: GTK Libs for XRoar-GTK-w32
Cool, thanks for this Alastair!
That's still an awful lot of library just to get some menus, eh?
If a lot of people are actually using the GTK+ version, I'll start putting up builds of it along with the rest. Maybe until I get around to learning FLTK, which looks like it should do the same thing in less library.

Re: GTK Libs for XRoar-GTK-w32
Hello Ciaran,
I forgot at that time to test the GTK+ menus.
Now I have had the chance to give it a try and it is really very interesting for me, it gives a lot more control (disks and tapes) not to mention the ease to change machine configuration without having to close and launch another bat file!!
Unfortunately the last xroar-gtk I have access to is version 0.31, not the 0.31.1 or the latest snapshot.
Is there any chance for you to add this version whith every update? I would really appreciate it.
I understand that this can ONLY work with the windows32 version, could it work in w64 version?
thanks beforehand

Re: GTK Libs for XRoar-GTK-w32
It does work on 64-bit windows OS too.
I use the gtk version on my win7 64-bit without any problem.

Re: GTK Libs for XRoar-GTK-w32
hello,
thanks for your answer, I assume that you are compiling the source to get a w64 + GTK executable, because I have never seen a w64 version from Ciaran (just w32)
What would I need to compile the 64 version?

Re: GTK Libs for XRoar-GTK-w32
Is the GTK+ version as good as using batch files? Can you select between 100's of different configurations using custom ROMs and hardware settings?
Re: GTK Libs for XRoar-GTK-w32
I think that it's not thought for that, you could work out some configurations ...
I attach the five submenus that appear with win32 version 0.31

Re: GTK Libs for XRoar-GTK-w32
Thanks for the information. It seems like the GTK+ version is of very little use to me. I have a lot of different configurations that I want to use.pser1 wrote:I think that it's not thought for that, you could work out some configurations ...
