A few of you have been aware that I have performed some comparison testing (with the help of Phill), between the DragonPlus PSU board and Ant's MP1584-based one.
I have compiled all test results, background, principles and conclusions into one document. It has been written to be objective, and not unfairly praise or criticise either solution.

I think it's very well researched and unbiased, plus it introduces the reader to some considerations that aren't always on our minds, like why the -5/-12v regulator is not attached (and why it shouldn't).
