64, that is. In KiCad. It's something to do, eh?

Don't get too excited, there's way more to do before it's usable. And I'm definitely an amateur, so there's probably lots of bad style choices going on. And bad transciptions.

Lots of tedious stuff to go, like actually placing things on the PCB properly and all the routing. And more footprints. Maybe even 3D models if FreeCAD will do anything other than show me existing models some day. Still, I have some nice new calipers to help fix all the dubious measurements.

I dread to think how long that would have taken in Fritzing...

Anyway, thanks to Richard Harding for hosting the super high quality schematics - doing this from the old scans would have been nigh on impossible.

You have a lot of fun ahead of you!

Jokes aside, I think it's going to be great to have the schematics on Electronic Design Automation program. From there it would be easier to order replacement boards or design improved boards.

So, kudos to you, and keep up the great work!

That's a great start!

Looking forward to seeing nice 3d renders of the completed article :)

Yes, absolutely great projects and as Rob says would be great to be able to order replacement boards. Next step would be to add improvements and still maintain compatibility with the original board.

Coming along... Still need to place a bunch more accurately and replace some temporary stand-ins. It's fun to learn ;)
