microvitec cub monitor

Post by centrespot »

Hi All

Does any one know if there is a way of connecting the Dragon 32 & 64 to a microvitec cub monitor

Thanks in advance

I think it's difficult. Cubs are RGB-TTL only, unless you have an unusual model. That means you need an RGB output solution, and one that's tweaked for TTL levels. To get RGB of any kind out of a Dragon requires a particular rare model, or some internal or external converter kit. And even then that wouldn't likely be the TTL level kind of RGB that the Cub likely requires, so further shenanigans are likely then necessary.

In short, no not really.

Get a cheap LCD multi-input hybrid TV/monitor off ebay or marketplace - just make sure it has either SCART or Composite input.
