music format .PT3

Post by pser1 »

Hello,
I am trying to get info about the music format used in AGD games, that's to say .PT3 files (made with Pro Tracker 3)
but it seems not possible to find the data structure of these files.
I need this info in order to analyze the changes that would be needed to send this data chunk to a CoCo-PSG
I am saying CoCo-PSG because its YM2149 is pin to pin compatible with the AY-3-8xxx used in ZX-128 hardware.
Songs seem to have samples, envelopes and other features that I am not sure if the GMC module would support.
If anyone has something related to that music format and could share it or give me a link to where this info could be found,
I would really appreciate this ...
Thanks a lot
cheers

Hi,
thanks a lot, I have an english translation of this page.
It is the format description of the PT3 files I have got.
I hope this will help me decode the data once attached to an AGD game for the Spectrum 128K
cheers
