Emulator.
Can somebody please help me.I`ve got a Dragon which I`m now using to try and program again, scripting a few simple games to get my fingers back in.I`ve seen you can get an emulator for the P.C. This would be easier to use as it`s a bit trickie to type fast on the Dragon keyboard.I`m having trouble getting Xroar to work as I get the checked screen with inverted @ on it.The guide says I need ROM image or the like.Could somebody help me as I`m not to upto date with modern computers. If someone can explain how to do this in simple terms from start to finish I would be very greatful, Please imagine your explaining this to someone who still listens to prog rock, with an expanding belly and a shiny head and who`s kids laugh at him trying to text.

Re: Emulator.
Just grab the relevant ROM images from the download section of the forum and copy the files into the xroar installation directory. The ROM image named "Dragon Data Ltd - Dragon 32 - IC17.zip" will give you a standard Dragon 32.

Further ROMs can be found at http://archive.worldofdragon.org/archiv ... ?dir=Roms/
For a Dragon 64 you will need both "Dragon Data Ltd - Dragon 64 - IC17.zip" and "Dragon Data Ltd - Dragon 64 - IC18.zip".
To access disk images you will also need a DOS ROM such as "Dragon Data Ltd - Dragon DOS 1.0.zip", "Eurohard S.A - Dragon DOS 4.0.zip", "PNP - SuperDOS E6.zip", or "S3 - DOSPlus 4.9B.zip", etc.
Even more Dragon ROMs can be found in the Dragon subdirectory of the above page.

Hi here is the xroar page
http://www.6809.org.uk/dragon/xroar-manual.shtml
Tried to attach the PDF manual to this post - but it hasn't worked ?!?!?!
But in brief Press [CNTRL]+[L]
Select your cassette tape file from the file selction popup.
Then at the BASIC prompt just type the CLOAD / CLOADM command and it will load from the file you selected.
