By the way, do you have a socket for the motherboard?

I don't know if it's included in the kit.

Sorry Rob - only just seen this. Yes - the socket for the motherboard is included. It's a standard socket, as the pins on the daughterboard are the header pin type - rather than turned pin.

I just picked up my board from the post office.

It looks gorgeous! And I’m quite happy to see the smiley sticker on top of the eprom window

I’ll try to get it fitted this weekend or during the following week.

Thank you very much!

That's great news Rob - many thanks for letting me know. Glad you like the smiley stickers. Believe it or not, they were the only stickers I could find in my nearest big supermarket one night when I'd started blowing EPROMs. But I rather like them! :)

I have enough parts to offer 8 more of these boards at the same price, if anyone is interested. For info. it seems that in some or all Dragon 32s, there can be an issue with fitting the board due to a nearby capacitor, the cassette relay and the power connector. If specified as required at purchase time, I can supply the board with longer pins to lift it away from these first two obstacles, though depending on the type of power connector used, it may prove necessary to replace those power header pins with something more suitable.

I will soon be offering these boards solely through SellMyRetro - though the prices will be slightly higher, due to the higher costs and risk of essentially selling to a public marketplace.
