Dragon 200E Daughterboard

OK - I've now sourced enough EPROMs to make up to seven [now FIVE] of the 200E VDG daughterboards available. As I offered the first four on the Facebook group, I thought I'd give this forum a headstart this time! :)

I've not built them yet - but have tested all EPROMs in my own board, so know they are good. Therefore these are available in a variety of options - i.e. kit form, fully built, optional ZIF socket (for daughterboard), optional spare 6847. Please be aware that your existing 6847 must be removed and socketed (standard socket included for this purpose).

All prices below include signed for postage - hence different costs for location. Please ask for a quote if you'd prefer it fully tracked. These prices are marginally higher than I offered for the first boards - purely because I screwed up the postage!

I reserve the right to double and triple check the shipping costs :D - it's too easy to screw up - but I will firmly agree it with you prior to accepting an order.

Please send me a forum message first, so that I can ensure I have enough parts to fulfil the order.

The board (actually, this is the original version - the new version can accept a ZIFF, and the jumper is shifted towards the edge more).

Poke to the low-res screen to see all available characters (or use a 200E ROM!!).

I'm in for one fully assembled with shipping to Sweden.

Would you be so kind to ask how much more would be to send it tracked?

Thank you very much!

Hi Pere

Yes, you are in time! :)

Would you want it as a kit, or assembled? And with a normal socket, or a ZIF?

Also note that I now have spare, tested 6847s if people are worried about removing their old 6847 and wish to take the possibly easier route of just cutting out the old chip and then removing each pin individually.

Thanks

John

Sure Rob, I'll check.

If I'm reading it correctly, within the EU, tracking is an additional £1.85. It actually seems that for all international destinations, tracking costs the same as normal signed for - but within the EU, VAT is added for tracking!?

https://www.postoffice.co.uk/price-finder

Tracking within the UK takes us into Special Delivery territory, which for these will be an additional £4.65.

I'll update the prices in the original post.

The ZIF socket would be for the daughterboard or the motherboard?

The daughterboard. I used it to test a batch of 6847s I got.

Ok!

I'd like one built, with signed and tracked shipping to Sweden.

That would be 32.10 GBP, right?

Please send me a PM with further details.

I've PM'd you both with payment details - but the messages seem to be in my outbox rather than sent?
