Hi Rolo,

How do I order the latest flash card with case?

It would give my dragon a new lease of life :)

Thanks

Hi funkychimp,

The Dragon/CoCo-Multi-Cart is not a flash cartridge. Maybe you mix it up, with the CoCo SDC?
My cartridge is eprom-based. It comes with an eprom, for which you need an eprom burner to program. I can help you with that.
I do not build my cartridges into cases, but I mount them onto metal plates, which is working very well, protects the circuitry and provides a very solid look and feel. You can, if you really want to, take an old ATARI-VCS-cartridge's case and mount a cart into that (some basic manual skills required ;) ). I think, I still have one, which I prepared that way. Have to look into a few boxes, I suppose...

Please take a second look on the thread above, to make sure, that you understood, what the Dragon/CoCo-Multi-Cart is and what it is not :!:

Ordering is easy. You simply PM me. I'll come back to you for the details. Payment usually via paypal or bank transfer, if you prefer.

Thanks for your questions,
Rolo

Are these still available? I'm interested in one with a spare eprom and case.

Extension Cartridge for 1292 Advanced Programmable Video System family available

There is a new adapter for the Dragon Multi-Cart. It addresses a variety of consoles, the 1292 APVS-family. Compatible consoles were made by many manufacturers and were named 1292 APVS or later 1392 APVS or completely different, like RADOFIN, ACETRONIC (MPU-1000 and MPU-2000), PRINZTRONIC (VC-6000) , HANIMEX (HMG-1292 and HMG-1392), FOUNTAIN (Force 2) and more, often using the same Radofin XM-2050 board inside. http://www.videogameconsolelibrary.com/ ... age=models shows them all.

1292 APVS and INTERTON VC4000 are compatible and running the same software, but the cartridge connectors are different in format and wiring.

Dragon multi-cartridge is back! Arcadia 2001 Extension

Post by Rolo »

Extension Cartridge for Emerson Arcadia 2001 family available

I'm still here, not very active, but still... ;)

I made a new extension cartridge connecting the Dragon Multi-Cart to an Emerson Arcadia 2001-console. Wikipedia shows a huge variety of clones: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arcadia_2001. I'm having a HANIMEX HMG-2650, which is identical to the Emerson Arcadia 2001.
There are five software compatible sub-families, with unfortunately different cartridge slots. Please consider this. Currently I'm not having any plans to also build extension cartridges for the other sub-types.
I loaded an eprom with 64 games for testing, all of them are running flawlessly, as far as I noticed. :D
