Bring it along - I'll take mine apart - its the putting it back together again thats the worst bit - aligning the drive fronts with the LEDs and eject buttons is whole new type of challenge

Ok, Thank you very much!

I think the Archive is the leading edge now when it comes to information on Dragon computers, and this will be another huge step forward.

Beta boards anyone?

Hi guys!

I just booked my flight!

I'll arrive at Stansted on Friday at 15:05 and will be leaving from there on Saturday at 19:55.

Sorry I couldn't stay longer, but leaving on Sunday was much more expensive.

See you soon!

I've got 25 different Dragon specific books I can bring. That should help pass the time while queued up for a look at the Alphas/Beta ;)

Speaking of which, I'll try and borrow an anti-static mat & wrist strap if it's not already covered. It should help keep things a bit safer for dismantling prototype(s). It's fun to imagine what they would be worth if there was a picture of an Apple on them instead of a Dragon!

Also found an issue of the Siegfrieds Drachenpost newsletter while digging around. I'll scan it in when I get some time.

I'm in two minds about bringing a Dragon setup. It mainly comes down to laying my hands on a small TV I can lug around or a composite/vga converter that works. (Never tried one but I've heard of examples of them not working or have noticeable time lag)

On the question of monitors ... last time I was at the Museum I did note they had piles and piles of them everywhere. I'm going to drop them a line and see if we can borrow some, rather than have to lug our own.

Looking forward to seeing you all in June!

The Museum said they'll be happy to supply monitors - good! Of course, I only have one video cable, because I normally only use one Dragon a time ...

Dragon event, what a great idea.
I would like to come and meet everyone and possibly get a first hand look at the machines that may be present, but I am otherwise engaged at the beginning of June otherwise I would definitely be attending.
So I hope your day goes well and that you all get a parking space.
