School Boy Error!

I contacted the BeebMaster guy, but his 1000 was in storage, he did pass a link for the modem 2000 manual however.
So i read that, and well by golly don't i feel foolish!

Old modem!
A step away from an acoustic coupler type modem - old!

So how to get it to work? Well you need your phone attached to the modem, because you need to manually dial the number. Wait to connect, flip the switch to bring the modem online and replace the phone handset. Bingo - data transfer.

No need for rom dumps - it will be interesting to see how it copes with a few of the other BBS formats out there. But as it stands, it is working and i am happy.
Wouldn't have happened - at least as quickly, without you guys.

Cheers
I will post my wee youtube video when it uploads.

True. If you manage to save the rom as a wav file, send it to me and I'll decode it.

Yes, please!

It would be nice to emulate it, and also if someone gets a broken cartridge, we may be able to repair it.

Your wave file recording is not good enough to load under XROAR Dragon emulation. Please save it again, but make sure the wave file will load under XROAR before uploading. Use AUDIOON:SKIPF under XROAR Dragon 64 emulation as a check to make sure the file will load without I/O errors.

Thanks. :) I could have converted it to a ROM image in less than five minutes last night if your wave had been suitable for loading under XROAR Dragon emulation. It may be possible to get your original wave file to load with some fancy audio editing (and hard work), but doing that often leads to corruption of the program code. It would be much better (and far easier) to have a good quality wave recording.
