Coco Talk Dragon Special episode
Posted: Thu Jul 01, 2021 6:59 pm
We at the Coco Talk Show are planning on doing a big Dragon special either at the end of July or during August, and we would like to invite people here in the Dragon Facebook group to join in. We want a mix of people who had one back in the 1980's when they first came out, as well as those who have discovered the Dragon's much later as part of the retrocomputing hobby. We also want all levels of users; those who used it as a game machine, those who programmed software and/or designed hardware for it, those who purely run things on modern emulators like XRoar. For developers, if you have a modern piece of kit, or software, you can demo and promote it on the show as well.
For those interested, please email me at: curtisboyle@sasktel.net. We will have a group email going for suggestions, to figure out the exact date/time that will accommodate the most people (we can also play pre-recorded videos for those who can not make it to the live show), etc. (Some people don't use various social networks, so email is the one universal standard). Some people have already graciously agreed to spend some time with us for the show, and participating panelists can also trade stories and ask questions back and forth. Both Ciaran Anscomb (author of XRoar, Dunjunz & more) and Stewart Orchard (author of games like Balldozer, Revenge of the Alien Bongo Beast and the Return of the Beast playable demo) are amongst those; please contact me at the above email to join the show as well!
