Does Mr Dig work properly?

Post by robcfg »

I was talking to a friend on a spanish Dragon Users Telegram group and he said that he was having trouble playing Mr Dig, as he couldn't move the character and it drifted to the left side of the screen.

So, I took the chance to test it while I was servicing my 64, and lo and behold, it happened the same to me.

I tried tape and disk version from my DragonMMC, both with the same result.

So, was the game working back in the day? Could it be due to the 6309 or the DragonMMC? Does it expect a digital joystick instead of an analog one?

Any clue?

Cuthbert Dragon did a video a couple of months ago so it definitely does work on a D32.

I tried disk and tape 'play now' options in the archive and they seem to work ok.
