if it takes weeks for posts to appear its kinda kills conversation.

As you probably have discovered yourself, only your very first post is moderated (at least that's how it seems to work for the moment). And I think that is a good measure against spammers. Take a look at the user list, sorted by date, and you get an idea of what kind of people/bots register on this forum.

been advised its 10 posts, but looks like ive been given a pass now
