A question for admins (about games uploading)

Post by pser1 »

Hello,
this is intended for the admins

I am converting lots of games from Spectrum AGD to MC6809 (Dragon and CoCo) and I do upload them here so that anybody can give them a try ...
But I have converted that engine for a new module named SuperSprite-FM+ built and sold by John Whitworth
This allows us to play the very same games I had already converted for MC6847, so black and white to a much richer platform where we can work
with 16 colours on 256x192 pixels with hardware sprites (V9958), so things are a bit faster!
And even sound effects and music could be added using YM2149 and YM2413

But, I know that very few of us do have that module, so my question is ...
Would it make any sense to upload here from time to time packs of two games for that platform?
Right now I have already twelve games ... but only six are downloadable via John's web
I will wait for your answer before sending anything to the Upload Section
Thanks beforehand

Hello,
if I have asked to the wrong place nobody has told me about my error :(
So, I asume this was the correct place to put my question and having no answer at all, implies for me that this forum is not interested
in my AGD converted games for John's Whitworth nice SuperSprite-FM+ module.
This means that I won't be uploading here any of them.
If any of you, that own one of these modules, do want to download and play any of the games I have converted for it,
you will need to go to John's web to download them
Of course you should know that you could play those games using MAME emulator without issues!
cheers!

If you ask me, you'd be in the same situation as software intended for the DragonPlus card, for example.

In the end it's still Dragon software, and it should be here too.

That's my two cents.

HI,
thanks for your answers ...
Right, the code is for any CoCo-Dragon with 32Kb with a HD6309 inside
By now I have six games already published on John's web and six more that I sent to two people to test them (CoCo - Dragon)
Once received their answer, I will upload them here as packs #2 and #3
Pack #1 will contain the six games I converted first ...
cheers!
