Hello everyone,
I found the tape dump of this nice utility in the archive, but not the disk version. Did I miss anything or is it really missing? In the latter case, I will gladly provide the disk dump (".vdk") created from my own original, some years ago.

Re: why did the dragon only use green in most of its games?
PMode3 games using a buff background looked rather awful most of the time ("Junior's Revenge" for instance). There is an exception, though. Not sure about the actual title, but it might be "Cosmic Crusader" (the 3D shooter featuring waves of ant-like aliens). The main screen is very readable and it ...

... This is what I would call an understatement!sixxie wrote:(Does look very loosely based, according to the synopsis though!)
But still worth reading, anyway.

Re: Juxtaposition - CoCo and/or NTSC
... Great idea! and such a nice game, too.
To anyone who enjoyed/enjoys/will enjoy playing it, I can onbly recommend reading the trilogy of novels that it was loosely based on, ie. the "Blue Adept" trilogy by Piers Anthony (Blue Adept / Split Infinity / Juxtaposition).

Hello,
I'm not sure Microdeal's "The Dragon Composer" could be what you're looking for, but I would still suggest checking that one first. I believe the original documentation will be available.
BR,
Lionel

Re: TOTAL MADNESS
From a technical point of view, this is most impressive. I guess the Dragon Data people never imagined anything close being possible.
Congratulations! I'll be looking forward to even more and better from you!

Re: Infocom games
The safest bet now, as far as playing the "Infocom" games is concerned, might be to resort to emulation. I think I retrieved the whole range in Amiga format, many years ago...
I believe it should also be quite easy to play those online nowadays...

Re: revenge of a deranged madman
... pretty fascinating. Especially after getting used to the Dragon being so "lacking in the sound area" (... not my own word, but what used to be said about it). Definitely unlike the soundtrack to "Cuthbert Goes Walkabout", hahaha! Congratulations on achieving this. Will definitely be lo...

Re: Feasibility Experiment
Save to VDK feature? ... Sorry, Ciaran. I was actually meaning "Save to disk whilst using emulated output", which means writing the data to a ".vdk" file, which usually results in the size of the ".vdk" file becoming kind of a mess. I haven't tried this again in a while, but I seem to remember I di...

Re: Feasibility Experiment
I do agree. It's just that the "SAVE to vdk" feature of XRoar did not prove so efficient so far (and it is just the same with MESS, I think). Everytime I tried to use it on single files, I either got an error or a huge ".vdk" file as a result. Moreover, the files I have on ".vdk" are not a replica o...
