Re: dragon 32 not displaying anything on screen
I'm from scotland but as I'm using composite it shouldn't matter ? Composite video is still offered in standard formats such as NTSC, PAL, SECAM etc. But since you're in Scotland, there shouldn't be any problems with you using Dragons. Might as well ignore the RF modulator at this stage. Those thin...

Re: dragon 32 not displaying anything on screen
Did that TV used to work with those Dragons? I don't know but it seems a little odd that two 32s and a 64 all have video problems. I'd try and test with another display before worrying too much about the VDP. Edit: Not all modern TVs like the old signals from computers like the Dragon. And you don't...

Re: Utility for converting a binary file to a .CAS file
@Ken + Rob, I think I've asked the same thing at one point and mentioned that I had to knock up a quick "DrCasBin" tool for something I was working on. I'd love to see the functionality built in to DrBinCas though. It doesn't make sense to me to have a separate tool. I've never uploaded my crappy .e...

Nice one mate.
You're spoiling us now - you must have doubled the Dragon's game collection lately.

Re: I/O Cartridge (Show and Tell)
I've never tried it, but it seems a common tactic.
I recently saw an old photo of some card edge 'tips' which you solder onto a strip board. Looked amazing but I can't find them anywhere.

Re: I/O Cartridge (Show and Tell)
Are these I/O boards still available, posting to Australia? Well, they were never really for sale. I'd thought about it early on but then I re-used the board shape from an earlier project which made the PCB larger than needed and pushed the manufacturing into a higher price bracket. I figured they ...

Really? Ack.zephyr wrote:I would like to see this converted for use on the Dragon 32/64. But, AFAIK there is no source or executable code available for download.
Maybe drop him a line and say that the lovely folks over at World of Dragon want to enjoy his engine.
