Attic find - 70 or so cassettes
Hi All, Having had a trawl round the loft, I've found a box of about 70 cassettes (at least boxes with tapes inside - I haven't checked all the contents...). Most are the usual suspects but there may be something in here of interest. Most have inlay cards, 'tape only' means I only have the cassette ...

Re: Atari Joystick Adapter Build. Baby Step by Baby Step.
Hi Rob, that's the one. No, I don't have the adapter, box or manuals. Back in the day we used a pair of 'T' shaped digital joysticks with tiny fire buttons that had Dragon plugs on - I expect they're in the loft somewhere too. I later aquired someone else's DIY analogue joystick that was a pain as i...

Re: Atari Joystick Adapter Build. Baby Step by Baby Step.
Hi All, Just seen this post. Having rekindled my interest in my Dragon and spending time in the loft, I came across a box of games. Inside the box is a cassette for an Atari type joystick adapter from back in the day called a 'Dragon Tamer' (I'm assuming this is old news). It wasn't mine originally ...

Re: Returning member (Lancashire)
Happy Lancashire Day (apparently)! Thanks sixxie like many (most?) in Lancashire, I missed this. You have a lot to catch up to on the Dragon side of things  About 30 years - doesn't seem that long... Welcome johnha. I remember the Dragon line of computers from 82/83, and then they seemed t...

Returning member (Lancashire)
Hi All, I'm a returning member from Lancashire - I grew up with a Dragon 32 in the '80s and have various other bits of 8-bit kit. I have recently been clearing out the loft and discovered various Dragon related artefacts. It's great to see the community is still around and active and I'm interested ...

Thanks for your previous efforts Rob.
I hadn't realised it was OCR'd, excellent job, it has been a great help understanding my machines.
John.

Re: Build your own 6809 based computer!
Although new to the forum, I have a long standing interest in 6809 based processors (whilst at uni I used my Dragon to test run 6800 machine code and my final year project was image processing Landsat images in assembler on a dedicated 6809 system). In fact I do have a 6809 'development board', boug...

Re: Hello from a new member
Hi Rob, Thanks for the welcome.Yes very pleasing to see so much activity today (always useful as I've recently received a Dragon which needs a bit of attention). I remember looking for web sites/forums some time ago but the ones I found seemed rather quiet. I found my way here from the article on th...

Hello from a new member
Hi All, I'm a Dragon User from the very early days, my first computer was a Dragon 32 and I still have it somewhere (along with another 32 and a 64) and a few other accessories and spares lying around. I've got a few other 8-bits (mostly Acorn and Memotech) and a couple of Atari STs. It is good to s...

Hello from a new member
Hi All, Without an obvious forum/thread for new members to post to I thought I'd start here. I'm an old Dragon user from the early days (and still have the original hardware somewhere - 2x 32s and a 64) and have a general interest in various other 8-bit platforms (Acorn & Memotech mostly) and the At...
