Nice pack of Dragon games
Thanks to Rolf, I got a big lot of Dragon games, which you can see here: http://img830.imageshack.us/img830/1871/dragonstreasure.th.jpg I guess that many of them are already dumped, but I can dump anyone you want. I'll be scanning covers and manuals and updating wiki pages, though it will take some ...

Re: Problems uploading ~20Mb files
Hi Simon!
I sent you the link to the spanish Dragon32 service manual, courtesy of mcleod_ideafix from the spanish zonadepruebas.com forums.
I'll be uploading some schematics soon.

Re: DOS nightmares
I mean, when I read the directory entry for a file, the size is 1 byte longer than the actual size of the file.
When I extracted a file from one of my disk images, the last byte wasn't really part of it.

Re: DOS nightmares
I've tested the formulas and they seem to work ok. I also managed to extract a file from a .vdk image :D Now, I'll try to inject a file. The weird thing here, is that I'm having a lot of fun  [EDIT] I forgot to ask... Does DragonDOS report the size of the files as 1 byte greater than it sho...

Re: DOS nightmares
Thanks a bunch!
Seems to work pretty well!
Now I have to take a look at how to convert the LSN to sector, track and head values for extracting files. Just as an exercise.
And it's also useful for forging your own disks to get the most of it

Re: DOS nightmares
Hey Rolf! I was playing with my .VDK file reader and managed to decode the directory info, but it would be nice to have a tool that can extract and insert files on a disk image. I might need such a tool in a not so distant future ;) By the way, could anybody provide a formula to convert a track and ...

Problems uploading ~20Mb files
Hi, Folks! I'd like to give a very special thank to mcLeod_ideafix from the www.zonadepruebas.com forums for scanning the (spanish) Dragon 32 service manual for everybody to enjoy. Problem is, it's a 18Mb file and, even though the wiki is supposed to allow up to 40Mb files, I cannot correctly upload...

Re: Complete set of CoCo and Dragon ROMs for XROAR
Nice pack, thanks a bunch!
I also checked them against MESS, and you can use the basic ones with MESS also.

Re: How to?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that the .dgn files do have a small header and then the rom data, while the .rom files are raw binary dumps. So I can imagine MESS trying to read past the actual file length.
Glad you managed to solve it!

Re: How to?
Be sure to rename the roms to their correct names (i.e. D64_1.rom and D64_2.rom for the Dragon64 roms), and put it besides the Xroar executable file.
