Re: gcc-6809 and such like

Yes, the gcc-6809 seems to work fine, granted you have the latest lwtools (my PPA had the index d,s fix added for some time before 4.11). However, there seems to be a bug (missing declaration of some sort, I think) when the compiler generates calls to its _ashlsi3 helper function, typically for shi...

certainly aim, I suspect they'll cost between £5-£10 to ship.

Dragon User magazines

I have original copies of Dragon User from edition 1 up through to December 1987 if anyone wants them. These are in 3 magazine binders, all I'm really after is enough to cover postage costs and they're yours.

Re: gcc-6809 and such like

Yes, I picked the update soon after. I see you've been busy with FUZIX again, I do intend to build this at some point... I'm guessing the gcc-6809 port is reasonable stable now then? I've been distracted with other things recently but the last time I played with the newlib C-RTL port, my heap was en...

Re: composite to vga adaptor

Seems to improve things slightly adjusting the cap but it's still not that good. Suggestion I have from a chap at work is that the output from these somewhat older machines is probably a bit rough and ready and the adaptor is struggling to lock on however someone else has a composite to HDMI adaptor...

composite to vga adaptor

Hi all, I bought one of these composite video to VGA adaptors with the purpose of hooking up my Dragon to a standard monitor (at the moment I'm reduced to using an old portable TV in the back bedroom). Unfortunately it's giving me an effect as shown: Dsc01385.jpg the purple lines scroll down nicely....

Re: gcc-6809 and such like

I used your PPA for my lwtools & I saw earlier on the CoCo list that they have just released 4.11 so I assume you'll be updating this in the near future? Looks like I may have a use for my spare SRAMs then :) Will the design/code for paging in this additional memory be released & become part of the ...

Re: gcc-6809 and such like

Thanks for the info and pointers. Jon, note that the homepage for LWTOOLS and the gcc patch (which is the newest I have found) is at http://lwtools.projects.l-w.ca/ and forget about Gene's link. Also that the 64-bit build is known to be broken. I went 64-bit Linux myself last week for the first time...

Re: DWEEBS - applications for DWLOAD - DriveWire

Hi Pere, Thanks for those. I did briefly mod your code a week or so ago to check out the DOSPlus "special" and it seemed to work but I will check out your new versions when I have a moment. At present I am attempting to put my D64 back in it's original case - given the amount of additional hardware ...

gcc-6809 and such like

Having just read a brief bit off the FUZIX post, gcc6809 was mentioned and having just built (I think!) a working copy of this I wanted to solict people's thought on the state of this project and if I'm going about things the right way or am missing something. The "original" patch I downloaded & I t...
