Re: Time to move on

I'll be forever grateful to you for maintaining this nice site, and hope it will still be among us for many years. I think I could dump carts, cassettes and disks, the only problem would be to send them to Spain. Obviously if you find someone near you who can do the job, it would be cheaper. In any ...

I switched to joystick emulation and got to play Speed Racer.

Thanks for the tip, Rolf!

Re: XRoar & "Speed Racer" & "Athletyx"

Hi, glad you could play athletyx at last  I too cannot make my player run, must be due to the mapping of the joystick to the keys. I think there's a way to modify these values in xroar via command line. If you find a working copy of speed racer, please upload it here so we can play it! ;)

Re: XRoar & "Speed Racer" & "Athletyx"

I've tried the images in XRoar 0.23 and I get the same behaviour explained by retrofreak90 in Speed Racer (shows the computer and then does nothing), but in Athletyx, after the player arrive, I just press the joystick button (left ALT) and it goes to the next event.

Nice game!

I think it's indeed a pretty good conversion for the Dragon.

Thanks for posting it!

Yes, it is.

I do prefer PCB Artist, because it's free and far easier to use than eagle, in my opinion.

Re: WANTED: 5.25" disk drives

If you're trying to create images of your dragon disks on a PC a 1.2Mb disk drive will do the trick too.

I have an old pc as recover station and I can read and write dragon disks.

Re: Touchmaster Tablet

It's great that you got it working.

Would you mind taking some pictures of it and creating an entry in the wiki?

I think I haven't seen it there...

Of course if you can dump any software that came with the tablet, even better.

Re: Turns out Flash is really slow

It takes almost 20 seconds for the text to appear on screen and it is really slow. Maybe Java could be a nice language to use. I suggest you to look this link . It's an Amstrad CPC emulator fully done in Java and I must say, it runs quite well. I'm pretty sure that if you contact the author, DevilMa...
