Thanks Steve.

Dragon 32 - IC17 / IC18
On the Dragon 32 the 16k rom is split into two roms: IC17 & IC18.
On my Dragon, IC17 is socketed while IC18 is soldered. Is this the standard configuration?

Re: DLOAD resurrected for Dragon 32 (at 57600 baud)
The DLOAD experiment looks very promising! The way I see it, if Drivewire is a virtual floppy drive, DLOAD is essentially an ultra-fast virtual cassette tape. It could be a great solution for running programs that can't be run from disk due to memory constraints/conflicts. I think the perfect soluti...

Re: HDB-DOS for Dragon 32 and 64/Tano
As promised the exclusive CF image for Dragon/Tanos: http://www.mediafire.com/?40jau3q4zaewk8o There is a lot of coco2/3 stuff on it, but from 100 - 131 we have dragon dos disks converted to rs-dos. So you can play moon cresta, back track, chuckie egg direct from SuperIDE. Also two OS-9 flavours: o...

Re: HDB-DOS for Dragon 32 and 64/Tano
When I click on the link to download cf_dragon.img.7z it swaps it for a file named iLividSetup-r157-n-bf.exe (claimed to be a download manager :o ). Where is the link to download only the cf_dragon.img.7z file directly? http://download1578.mediafire.com/fm3a6id1h0hg/40jau3q4zaewk8o/cf_dragon.img.7z

Re: Drivewire for Dragon (beta)
So it's needed to change the EPROM on the dragon board? So the dragon works as a CoCo? Not anymore! This was previously needed because HDB-DOS wasn't compatible with the Dragon roms. Now that tormod has ported HDB-DOS to the Dragon 32 / 64, you can use Drivewire with the Dragon's original roms. See...

Re: Emulate Floppy with a Raspberry Pi ?
Drivewire can be run equally well on the Dragon 32 / Dragon 64 / Tano Dragon :D The adapter cable is plugged into the Dragon's parallel port which is available on all Dragons. The adapter basically converts the Dragon's parallel port to a bit-banger serial port. Have a look at the instructions in th...

Re: Emulate Floppy with a Raspberry Pi ?
A floppy controller is not required to run DriveWire.jedie wrote: What hardware is needed for using DriveWire? At least you need a origin floppy controller, isn't it?
The only hardware that is required is a a Drivewire adapter cable, and of course a PC/Mac/Linux as the Drivewire Server.
