Re: DWEEBS - applications for DWLOAD - DriveWire
as you will, but I will never compare something that runs in the PC world to something that runs in our beloved Dragons at a bit less than 1MHz ;-) The transmission time will be the same but the process time not, of course. Just remember that XRoar has a keystroke with wich you can accelerate everyt...

Re: DWEEBS - applications for DWLOAD - DriveWire
Hello,
the difference is that the dweebs I uploaded will work with any drivewire server, yours included, I assume.
You can try them with Aaron's DW4, with Tormod's uDW ...

Re: DWEEBS - applications for DWLOAD - DriveWire
Hello, I think that most of us prefer to write our Basic programs (maybe just menus) in a PC editor instead of keying right on the Dragon keyboard. But then this file has to be sent to the Dragon ... Well, now we can do that with the new dweeb LDA (for load ASCII) If you use DriveWire4 as server, re...

Re: DWLOAD - DriveWire for everybody
If the following line is added to config.xml inside the <instance> section, the setting can be edited in the config editor: <NamedObjectDir type="directory">c:\DriveWire4_4.3.3\dload</NamedObjectDir> I couldn't get the 'DiskPadPartialSectors' setting to work though, and the server still threw an er...

Re: DWLOAD / DWEEB github repro...
hello, jedie
As I told you I am not willing to go github.
I wish to share all of my dweebs with all of the people in worldofDragon, they have helped me a lot of times, so if something I do could be of use for them, I will be soooo glad!
That said, I agree absolutely with Tormod.
cheers

Re: Mixing two different graphic modes
@sorchard you're right, I remember that you had comented this latter difference problem So, no hope for the mixing of colors. In the real hardware it is acceptable when it applies to big screen areas, but when applied to a few pixels, it creates an awful moving / vibration sensation that, to me, inv...

Re: Mixing two different graphic modes
@sorchard I have been testing the programs I had that split the screen in two parts, the upper in PMODE3 and the lower in PMODE4 I see no difference with older XRoar versions. From the moment we added SYNC and had included the keyboard routine, all worked OK Where we did have lots of flickering was ...

Re: DWEEBS - applications for DWLOAD - DriveWire
Hello, despite it seems that calling first DLOAD"DOSMATE.BIN and then DLOAD"CHUCKIE.BIN it should work, but you will see that the entry screen of the game has some moving / changing bytes in a row. The game seems to work then, but i have not played long enough ... This doesn't happen with the BAS fi...

Re: DWEEBS - applications for DWLOAD - DriveWire
Hello, I am attaching here a binary with length adapted to DW4 named DOSMATE.BIN (one of the dos detach uploaded by Steve Evans in a previous post) I put in the same zip a game "Chuckie.bin" that has problems when disks are attached. cheers pere The best way to play without problems is using a basic...
