Re: Flagon Bird
It's great to see the Dragon homebrew scene starting to take off again. This game is a killer example of what can be achieved within the limited (by modern standards) confines of the Dragon 32/64. Well done, Bosco. My seven year old son played it last night on xroar and he thought it was "cool". You...

Re: Chess on the Dragon
Thanks, Alastair! I'll have a look at these tonight. TBH, given my own level in chess, the more basic the game, the better

Chess on the Dragon
Does anyone have any recommendations for Chess on the Dragon? I want to give the old brain cells an exercise with the game of kings. Thanks.

Text based adventures software
Does anyone know of software for Windows which helps in the design and coding of text-based adventures? I have a few ideas that I want to try out, with the ultimate goal of trying to port to the Dragon.

Re: New Dragon 32/64 Software

My own preference would be for text-based adventures or arcade clones. Maybe if a game designer gets the coding done, a kickstarter campaign co...

Re: All of my Basic games in one zip
Thanks for taking the time to do this. It's very much appreciated. It's great to see games still being ported to the Dragon.

Re: Has anyone any monitor recommendations?
I use one of these - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AV-to-VGA-Converter-for-Projector-and-PC-Displays-Composite-Video-In-VGA-Out-/321303690674 - a little composite to VGA convertor, as I've got lots of VGA flatscreen monitors kicking around. The quality is acceptable - there's probably only so much I ca...

Re: Question about emulation modes in Xroar
Success! I used the ROMs that you linked to Zephyr and they all seem to work nicely. Thank you. I am now happily EXEC'ing away in Dragon 64 mode enjoying the extra RAM.
