Re: The 6809 Companion
It would be nice with in slightly better resolution. The compression artefacts of the images in the PDF makes the text almost unreadable.

Re: Serial Numbers
My Dragon's plate 155244 DG Port Talbot Is user jedie adding the numbers to the wiki or are other's allowed to sign up for the wiki to edit the page? I added my profile to the wiki group, but I still have no access to the wiki (editing pages). I'm not sure what the wiki group membership is meant to...

Re: xroar keyboard mapping for windows 7
For those using Windows you have to append ">> filename" to the command to get a file containing any output messages, e.g., xroar -debug-ui -1 >> stdout.txt Hmm, I don't see it anyway. xroar.exe is completely silent, even on failing parameters (w/o above redirection). Strange ... is my Win7 install...

Re: xroar keyboard mapping for windows 7
Very odd, but not the only report of this sort of behaviour . Are you both using non-UK/US layouts in Windows? Speaking just for me: I use a german layout. If you run XRoar with "-debug-ui -1", that should print scancodes as you press keys. Out of curiosity, what gets printed when you hold AltGr, t...

xroar keyboard mapping for windows 7
Hi Xroar users! I'm currently using xroar-0.34.8-w64 on Windows 7 with german keyboard layout. Starting it up with xroar.exe -keymap de -kbd-translate -default-machine dragon32 -rompath C:/Users/JK/xroar-roms -nodos The problem is how to generate a "@". On DE keyboards it is used to press AltGr+Q, b...

Re: A mathematical demo
Very nice, indeed.litwr wrote:Pipack-22 is just released - http://litwr2.atspace.eu/pi/pi-spigot-benchmark.html. It contains newer and faster versions for Dragons. The request for help with 6309 is still actual.
Just a small typo in the 2nd table, rank 11, "68516" should be "65816"

No pic? Or is this handled in some other thread already?norris wrote:Taking a peek at my Dragon 32 there are two components I think they are marked VR1 and RV1 which are roundish in shape. They have a white powdery substance around them, is this something to be concerned with?

Re: Request: Small BASIC programs...
DIM is useful, one could say elegant, to define the order of variables You are right of course. I wonder how much difference it could make? This would be just one of a lot more steps to optimize a BASIC program. In summary this difference is remarkable. There are several summary ups of "golden rule...

Re: Request: Small BASIC programs...
[..] Note it is possible to create an array with one element: For example DIM Z(0). Not very useful but there it is. An array with just one element seems not very useful, but even for small arrays which are automatically defined or just simple variables DIM is useful, one could say elegant, to defi...

Re: BASIC and strings
That makes sense. And yes, i see the same with "ELSE"... Are ' and ELSE the only "exceptions" ? Maybe i add simple replace rules: ":'" -> "'" ":ELSE" -> "ELSE" I think so, but I actually didn't analyze the LIST routine in ROM where such thing could be observed. Even with my de-tokenizer script I sa...
