Hi Adrian,

To answer your second question: I've chosen to open source my game for anybody to fiddle with at their will, which has actually resulted in some really interesting emails from people looking at it and doing things based on this game. You can find everything on github.

Hi Adrian, The only data point that I can offer is my own agreement with Microdeal for a game that I created and licensed to them back in the 80's. That license agreement was temporary only and expired in 1999. All rights to the software have now returned to me. I didn't negotiate for this, so assum...

Happy new year, everybody! After some extensive reconstruction at home forcing me to keep a lot of stuff in boxes, the Dragon is once again unboxed and ready for use. My new year resolution is to actually use it more than last year :geek:

The external Dragon PSU is nothing more than a transformer. I had to construct a replacement PSU a while ago and documented the effort here. US users will need a different transformer to fit to US power standards.

I gave up on the composite monitor a while back and settled for a normal HDMI screen with an Atlona AT-HD12D video converter and scaler. Works really well.

I also believe some of the later Microdeal titles were released on floppies with some kind of copy protection. Mr Dig comes to mind. I believe those disk used a custom disk format with missing sectors, but my memory might be failing me. I believe I have one or two of these disk titles lying around a...
