Anyone passing a B&Q/Hardware Depot?
I seem to have lost the screw from my only Dragon cartridge casing (Dragon Chess). That's annoying. Can someone do me a favour - if you get a few minutes next time you're thinking of going to B&Q/Homebase etc. can you take the screw from a Dragon Data Ltd. cartridge and see if you can find out what ...

Re: Dragon DriveWire adapters
When I first saw this, I figured that a ROM cartridge with HDB-DOS on and a built-in connection for a cheap FTDI USB cable would work with just a little rewriting of the serial send and receive functions. It's pretty similar to a cart I've already built. However, since that one is still not 100% at ...

Re: DLOAD resurrected for Dragon 32 (at 57600 baud)
This is maybe food for another thread but I have been thinking of a larger effort to have the ROM demystified to make it easier for people to understand and hack it. Cool!
And some nice commenting in your assembler source which has taught me a few things, so thank you for that too.

Re: Emulate Floppy with a Raspberry Pi ?
Most likely, yes. Whether it'd be worth all the effort (vs. an HxC emulator, Drivewire, or any of the other methods of loading program's into a Dragon) would be debatable but I can't see any reason why it wouldn't work. I've used devices with less power to pretend to be cartridge ROMs before and to ...

Looks great, but just too expensive for me to justify (especially at the minute).

Well, it's a damn nuisance not having it (especially with no shifts).
