Broken Dragon

I have a Dragon 32 with an issue 3 power board - (is there any way of checking which issue of the motherboard it is?) I presume both power regulators should be firmly attached to the heatsink - one was sticking up in the air, no sign of the rivet used to hold the other power regulator - and it looks...

Re: Using the HxC Floppy Emulator

Yes it can emulate a twin floppy drive (presuming the Dragon supports it).

Have a look at the jumper settings (around p10) for some ideas. Once you have the jumpers correct (not sure which settings are required here), you can then use the buttons to select a disk image for drive A and drive B.

So hopefully, it will be on again next year - I woul...

Re: Modern storage options?

Yes, it seems Microdeal released quite a few programs for the QL and Dragon - the rights to the QL software were acquired by Talent, so we can still sell them - as for the Dragon software, who knows!

Re: Modern storage options?

I have been looking at a floppy disk emulator which basically plugs into a standard floppy disk drive cable, and stores disk images on an SD card. We would need some floppy disk images to try and details of the following - I can see some information from earlier posts, so that appears in brackets..:...
