Jim primarily focuses on programming the Coco's little brother 8-bit computer, the TRS-80 MC-10. However, due to the fact that the MC-10 shares Microsoft's Micro Color Basic in common with the Coco and the Dragon, many programs can easily be ported to these machines as well. He has created or ported well over 100 programs to the MC-10 and at least half of those have also been brought to the Dragon. Since Jim's hobby is ongoing, the ZIP compilation of his programs is continuously being updated. The links below will provide a glimpse into these ongoing efforts. Jim highly encourages people to help him in testing his programs and to contribute any feedback that they can to aid him in his efforts to improve them.
"G-Soft" is the fanciful name for the Basic programming activities of Jim Gerrie. Since 2012 Jim has engaged in an ongoing effort to bring as many of his programs as possible over to the Dragon (and Coco).
"G-Soft" is the fanciful name for the Basic programming projects of Jim Gerrie. Since 2012 Jim has engaged in an ongoing effort to bring as many of his programs as possible over to the Dragon (and Coco). He has created or ported well over 100 programs to the MC-10 and at least half of those have also been brought to the Coco and the Dragon. Since Jim's hobby is ongoing the ZIP compilation of his programs is continuously being updated. The links below will provide a glimpse into these ongoing efforts. Jim highly encourages people to help him in testing his programs and to contribute any feedback that can aid him in his efforts to improve them.
