DragonDOS 64 v1.0

DragonDOS 64 Is a copy of DragonDOS 1.0 that I have modified to operate entirely in 64K (MAP1) mode. It is designed to operate most reliably on a Dragon 32 or 64 with a BASIC System ROM that has been patched with my ROM (in RAM) Reset Patch.

DragonDOS 64 does not use any of the BASIC graphics page memory.


To install DragonDOS 64 from the included (vdk) floppy disk:

Enter RUN"LOADER"


To install DragonDOS 64 from cassette:

You will need to download my Cartridge Disable (DCARD) and ROM (in RAM) Reset Patch (DRAGONRP) programs. Then follow the step-by-step instructions below.

(1) Enter CLOADM"DCARD":EXEC to disable DOS with Cartridge Disable.
(2) Enter CLOADM"DRAGONRP":EXEC to apply the ROM (in RAM) Reset Patch.
(3) Enter CLOADM"DDOS64":EXEC to install DragonDOS 64.

I have added a (much needed) paged directory listing feature to DragonDOS 1.0 and DragonDOS 64 V1.0. Press either BREAK or LEFT ARROW key to exit from pause mode. Press any other key to display the next page.

I have written a separate add-on paged directory listing program that provides a paged directory listing feature for DragonDOS 1.0, DragonDOS 64 V1.0, DragonDOS NX01, and DragonDOS 64 NX01.
