Just watched some of Simon Jonassen's impressive videos on youtube and was curious about the neat Bart Simpson graphic seen here:

The thing that instantly came to mind was that CoCo program that drew a strange american comic book character (MAD?).
But as you said "pop art", I quickly took to google and the gimp for this
