Download here includes both the .mp3 to run it on a real system + a video-capture .avi as well.
Or you can watch the video capture directly on YouTube
here .
This is our first demo for the Dragon-32. I started coding the effects when I first bought a Dragon-32 in 2014, continued some in 2015, but then the project ended up way, WAY back on the backburner for a few years. Then finally this year I picked it up again and got both Mermaid (graphics) and dLX (music) on board and we could finish and release it!

It looks gorgeous!
I love the big letters scrolling and the smooth plasma, the music and, of course, the dragons.
Please keep on doing cool stuff!

That looks excellent!
I also love the dragons
No idea why we don't get even crunchy audio out of emulators, mind.

Yeah, nice demo and seeing this really shows what can be done with this old vintage computer when tweaked with new eyes.

This is superb! Every part of it: Coding, artwork & music. I've tried it on real hardware and it looks & sounds great

It took me a while to figure out: The audio is on the tape, and not produced by the binary. Still cool though

Actually the last part is just normal bitmap mode, the flicker is just an artifact of the composite capture!

@sdw...
ermmmm.....
you have an IRQ going on at $10d that flips pages at 50/60FPS (yes i looked at the code)
thats presumably for the plasma..... since you are getting shades of pink etc.....

The buffer flip is just a normal double-buffer, ie. I draw the effect in one frame, then flip on VBL to avoid tearing caused by drawing graphics at the same point the raster beam is at.
