Hello all,
Just wanted to say hello being a new forum member.
I was not a Dragon user 'back in the day' unfortunately, but my love of 8-bit allowed me to acquire a broken one from a friend (for free).
I have managed to clean it up and fix it (duff RAM and a dodgy IC). Happy days. Next up will be a bit of Retr0brighting as the case is severely yellowed.
I have also taken the time to re-create the PCB in Altium and come up with a better, more understandable (for me anyway) schematic - something I did as a precursor to fixing the old machine.
Anyway, pleased to meet you all, Andy.
Hi
Re: Hi
Hi Andy, welcome to the Dragon Archive!
You're not the only one that wasn't a Dragon User back in the day
I got my D64 plus DragonDos cartridge and Single disk drive in 1993 and it wasn't until 10 years later that I started tinkering with it and ended up here, hehe!
Just out of curiosity, can you post pictures of your machine's serial number and PCB? We are always looking to make pages like this one and this one more complete.
Cheers,
Rob
