Finally tested 256K
Finally tested 256K
Looks like a) the 256K DRAMs I ordered off ebay last year are good, and b) SAMx4 256K banker support really does work. Yay!

Re: Finally tested 256K
Ciaran - do you have a copy of the J&R Banker software that they included with their 256K and 512K banker boards? If not, Ken Waters (Canadian Retro Things) has copies of them. I think it even came with OS9 Level 1 RAM disk drivers for it.
Re: Finally tested 256K
I don't, though I see the disk on colorcomputerarchive. Unfortunately the only machine I'm easily able to modify to test this is my own Dragon 64 board (where the DRAMs are all socketed, and I'd left pin 1 N/C, so was just a case of soldering them all together), so can't test it with the CoCo software.lcurtisboyle wrote: ↑Sat Mar 23, 2024 3:49 am Ciaran - do you have a copy of the J&R Banker software that they included with their 256K and 512K banker boards? Still, that'll be useful for testing the inevitable additions to XRoar
