Re: SuperRGB Boards
I have a small question about the SuperRGB boards.
If I have it installed in a regular UK Dragon, can I make it output NTSC and get the nice colour artifacting?
Thanks!

Re: SuperRGB Boards
That's a very good question, and I don't know the answer I'm afraid.
Re: SuperRGB Boards
I'd say almost certainly not - the artefact colours are artefacts of composite video, and that's no longer going to be in the chain.
Re: SuperRGB Boards
You're probably right, but then again, why would it have a PAL/NTSC option? Wouldn't it be taking it from the SAM or any other place?
Re: SuperRGB Boards
The PAL/NTSC option is really to ensure that the vertical refresh timings are correct for the software in use. For instance, if music is triggered by an interrupt and is designed for 50Hz, then an NTSC signal will make everything play a bit fast.
I agree with sixxie that artefacts are unlikely. I think on the Switch-a-Roo for the Coco 3, you have to fall back to composite to get the artefacts.
