finally I have modified both DDOS12 and DDOS12dir so that they have the KILL bug corrected.
I am attaching here a zip with the three 'new' versions:
- DDOS13 corresponding to the old DDOS12
- DDOS13A related to old DDOS12A
- DDOS13dir derivated from old DDOS12dir
This last one will show as version number: 1.3D
Thanks! 8-)

you are welcome.

I have changed the 'different' bytes in the DDOS13T version but the result has been the same, garbage as response to DIR command
whilst DIR1 or DIR2 simply gave OK as result.

I will forget about those changes and will be using DDOS13A despite the other two versions seem to be equally usefull.

cheers

Hi all,

I want to try and merge the patches into the DragonDos source, but am unsure which to use....

What are the differences between the 3 versions, apart from the fact that DOS13dir is longer by a few bytes and therefore spills over into the $E000-$EFFF area.

Cheers.

Phill.

Hi Phill,
I think that some time ago someone added "PG Scott patches" to all Dragon Data DOS versions, so the standard DDOS11, DDOS12
became DDOS11C and DDOS12A
Later, the DIR command was modified so that its output was much better despite this meant to break the 8k frontier, so
if anyone wanted to burn an EPROM this had to be 16k. The associated names were: DDOS11dir and DDOS12dir

I don't know if I have forgotten anything important about these changes, maybe Steve Evans could, if it were the case, tell us
what had been done in the evolution DDOS11-DDOS11C-DDOS11dir and the same DDOS12-DDOS12A-DDOS12dir

cheers

I am attaching a text document with the PG Scott patches ...
