D-Zip

Post by pser1 »

Hello Ciaran,

I was searching for a compressor program for black and white images, I found your D-Zip that comes with a decompressor for 6809.
I like to test it because the 6809 decompressor is really small.
I work with Windows 7.
What should I do to get a Windows executable for D-Zip and D-Unzip? Just have Java as a developpment environment, not C++ nor C#
Maybe you have these exes already built ...

cheers

Hi, Ciaran

I gave this a chance and worked out flawlessly, congratulations!!
The files I am using are small (some 4041 bytes) so I don't expect a lot of space saving, but overall I have detected a 31% of volume reduction
The most brilliant part is the decompressing rutine, it is so fast that it is not noticeable, it acts instantaneously.

A great work, Ciaran ... keep on doing programs/utilities so awesome!
Thanks a lot for sharing them

cheers
