3D Printed Cartridge Case (Part 1)

Post by Rink »

Thought you fellows might quite like to see this: my order just arrived moments ago and contains a 3D printed lid for a Dragon 32 cartridge case.

I'm about 0.5mm away from it fitting perfectly, but it does fit. Needs some kind of lacquer though - you can scratch this material quite easily.

On to the base next I suppose.

Most excellent, one of the reasons I thought about getting a 3D printer was to see if I could make a DOS cart case :)

Cheers.

After receiving this and being pleasantly surprised by the quality etc., I'm absolutely dying to buy my own 3D printer now.

@Rink: Can you made the 3d data public somewhere?

Then i can modify it for the DOS controller from LAFUMAT, see: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=774&start=10#p4032 and must not start from null.
... too many ideas and too little time ... Related stuff written in Python:

I'll be doing that when the bottom half of the shell is done (been too busy to finish it) - since I don't want to release files that I'm not 100% confident in.
