With XRoar successfully installed on my Mac. I have been able to load in my old Basic programs (that I saved onto cassettes nearly 30 years ago).
Obviously, when I type LIST, I can see the Basic program appear in the emulator, as this screenshot shows:
But what I would really like to do is export this listing to a text file in my computer's file system.
Does anyone have a good suggestion about how I could do this?
Thanks
Export listing of Basic program to a text file from XRoar
Re: Export listing of Basic program to a text file from XRoa
You may be able to use printer functions in an emulator and LLIST to a file.....
or
CSAVE "name", A to a new .CAS file and open that and manually remove the block header/footer bytes....

You could alternatively run DC.EXE/D to convert that .CAS file to text (instead of doing it manually).admin wrote:CSAVE "name", A to a new .CAS file and open that and manually remove the block header/footer bytes....
