This is my own modified version of "Pirate Adventure" by Scott Adams. The following changes were made to the original game:

(1) The game no longer (irritatingly) asks "DO YOU HAVE LOWERCASE?" when running on a Dragon 32/64.

(2) The game automatically enables lowercase mode if you answer yes to the above question when running on a CoCo.

(3) Improved keyboard response when running on a Dragon 32/64.

(4) Replaced the custom loader/copy protection/auto-run with a more conventional auto-run.

That does appear to prevent (for example) the lower-case support built-in to T3 being used, though!

This updated version solves that problem. :)
DRAGON 32/64 AND LOWERCASE TEXT

There has never been a real Dragon 32 or 64 made that has true lowercase letters. However, if you have a Dragon which has been modified to display lowercase or want to play the game under T3, PC-Dragon, etc emulators using the inbuilt lowercase function, then follow these instructions:

(1) Start the emulator with Dragon 32 or 64 emulation (or power-up your modified Dragon).

(2) Enable the emulator's (or hardware modified Dragon's) lowercase letter display.

(3) Enter CLOADM at the command prompt and press the CAPS LOCK key (or Shift+0 on your hardware modified Dragon).

(4) Press ENTER and wait for Pirate Adventure to load from cassette.

Note: The game's lowercase letters (inverse text) can be toggled on/off by the CAPS LOCK key at any time during gameplay (Enter "LOOK" to refresh the whole display).
