... And here's the second game sampled by Simon in 2003.
That one is a PMODE4 tennis game. Based on the in-game board display, it seems to be the perfect game to play at this time of the year since it's obviously supposed to feature the renowned "Roland-Garros" tournament!
The game was created in France by someone named Bernard Andrau, and distributed by Goal Computer, a small computer shop in Paris that also was the official distributor for the Dragon computer.
CLOADM/EXEC
Some options have to be selected before play begins:
First option screen:
1/ Two player "manual" game
2/ Computer playing top player
3/ Computer playing bottom player
4/ "Demo" mode (computer playing both players)
Second option screen:
5 (amateur) to 0 (top level player)
Then best of 3 (enter "2") or 5 (enter "3") sets.
The game is joystick-controlled. The players' motion is sure to raise a few laughs - and claiming that the sound is minimal can only be considered an understatement!
But anyway, this game does exist, so I believe it is worth adding to the Archive.
