ROARS FROM THE AGD CAVE
=============================
Once converted the games that were made with AGD versions 4.6 and 4.7, we made a list of the games that couldn't be converted with
the converter from AGDv4.7. We found these failing games-versions (total 47 games)
v2.0 (1) - v2.6 (7) - v3.0 (15) - v4.6 (15) - v4.6A (1) - v4.7 (8)
Kees created some Visual Basic programs that could be run from an Excel sheet. That way all of the v3.0 could be converted to AGDv4.7
Once this was working, I made a copy of the converter4.7 and changed it to use the rules used in v3.0 by Kees and after some tweaking,
we got it working very well. So 15 games were converted and ready to be released.
Next step was going for the v2.6 games. Kees created a new version of the converter to process the v2.6 rules and that way we got
five more games (out of 7)
Since last time we released a games pack (#26) there have been a few new programs created with v4.7 and published on AGDX page
We have downloaded three that have been converted and besides Kees worked successfully on a v4.6 game, so that we now have
5+15+3+1=24 new games to release
I have been adding them into four packs each with six games that are planned to be released as usual on Tuesday and Friday,
so targeted dates are these
Pack #27 on 2019-06-04 (today)
Pack #28 on 2019-06-07 (friday)
Pack #29 on 2019-06-11 (next tuesday)
Pack #30 on 2019-06-14 (friday next week)
cheers
