Hack-It! (Dragonfire Services)

Post by sixxie »

A Broomsoft collection of tools that I have no documentation for!

(Looking back at old ads / catalogues, I'm not sure I ever did, which may have prompted the decision to omit it from listings...)

This was generated using an original tape writer tool.

Hello,
after loading the parts (programs) in this tape, I am sure that this is the same than this title already in the archive
HACKER UTILITIES by BROOMSOFT (1986)
In fact the tape has these programs: BLOCKER, HACK, CLEARMEM, UTIL (all ml) and a basic pgm named HACKv1.1
Seems very related to Microdeal tapes
cheers

I did notice "hacker utilities", but it seemed lacking the BASIC program and others.

But if it's identical, I guess we can ignore this.

NO, they are not the same ...
Hack-It has the three machine code routines developped by Broomsoft and then they added:
- UTIL that shows some work options
- HACKv1.1 , a Basic program that seems to allow the users to make backups of Microdeal original tapes
So I think we should better keep this new one too!
Again, thanks a lot
have a nice weekend
