Dragon's Teeth and Statacom Dragon News

Post by robcfg »

Hi all!

I managed to get six issues of the Dragon's Teeth magazine and a Statacom Dragon News issue.

They were on offer on eBay for half the usual price, which in the end makes a fair price for them.

I'll be scanning and uploading them in my spare time.

Cheers,
Rob

I found a little time today and managed to scan Dragon's Teeth issue 4.

You can find it on the Dragon's Teeth wiki page.

Thanks Rob! Interesting stuff. Those two newsletters show very different views on use of speedup pokes. Statacom says use the poke, whereas a letter in Dragon's Teeth says don't.

Also, in Dragon's Teeth, there is a little program in the tips section that appears to create an array of strings requiring over a megabyte of storage and then prints it out. I actually had to type it in to convince me it would work and only then did I figure out what was going on :)

My pleasure!

Indeed! And if you read several magazines, you start to see different opinions on certain events which makes them very interesting.

I still have 4 Dragon's Teeth issues to scan so, stay tuned!

Pere,

I have Dragon's Teeth issues 4,6,7,8,9 and 10.

I'm not sure how many issues were published though.
